About Me

Hi there, I'm Berhane Wheeler, a software engineer, studying Computer Science and Business Administration at Berea College. I am profoundly passionate about edu-tech and game development.

I interned at JPMorganChase last summer, as a software engineering intern, as part of the Employee Platforms Team, where I worked on full-stack web applications, using TypeScript, Kotlin, and React.js.

I also currently work as a Data Structures Computer Science Teaching Assistant. I currently serve as the secretary of the National Society of Black Engineers (Berea College Chapter), and the president of the Entrepreneurship club on my campus.

I have released one mobile game, Purse Pursuit in May 2024 available on the PlayStore and AppStore with 200+ downloads. Furthermore, I believe in the power of education and it's ability to transform lives, leading to the launch of my YouTube Channel, Konita Tutorials which I later renamed to Konita. My YouTube channel, Konita, where I share programming tutorials. So far my impact has been 640,000+ views and 2,900+ subscribers. I use JavaScript, Python, C#, and Scratch during my tutorials and development vlogs.

Moving forward, I am seeking a Software Engineering Internship for 2026 summer, and or 2026 Fall, to build hands-on experience in the field.
