Hi there, I'm Berhane Wheeler, a software engineer, a Computer Science major and Business minor. I am profoundly passionate about edu-tech and game development.
I interned at JPMorganChase last summer, as a software engineering intern, as part of the Employee Platforms Team, where I worked on full-stack web applications, using TypeScript, Kotlin, and React.js.
This summer I will be interning at Snap Inc. as a Software Engineering Intern, and I will be working on the Viewer Expereince Team. I am excited to work on innovative features that will enhance the user experience for millions of Snapchat users worldwide.
I'm also developing Don't Be Late! a 3D math game for elementrary and middle school students, making math more engaging for them. We raised $6,000+ in funding for the game through pitch competitions, and are starting with pilots of the game in classrooms.
Moving forward, I am seeking a Software Engineering New Grad position for May 2027 grads.
